Yes. Faculty who plan to teach during the Maymester or Winter Intersession should contact their instructional designer (ID) as soon as possible to begin the course redesign process. Faculty must already be credentialed to teach online. Waiting too long to engage with an ID and other CDL services may result in an inability to provide support in time.

If students need assistance during the term, they should contact the appropriate office (e.g., Office of Student Financial Assistance and Registrar’s Office).
CDL has always provided some limited support service during the university’s winter break. This service consists of several hours a day of email monitoring and responding on all days except actual holidays (e.g., Christmas and New Year’s Day). Phone service is not available. At this point, we intend to maintain this existing level of Webcourses email support during the Winter Intersession.
The Registrar’s Office will provide limited phone support over the winter break. The service is limited to live phone calls. Emails will not be monitored. Students needing phone support from the Registrar’s Office should call 407-823-3100.
Student services will be available. All registered UCF students can schedule an appointment with a Student Care Services staff member for various reasons and needs, including academic, financial, or personal distress, including medical concerns or follow up care. No. Housing is not available during the Maymester term. Housing will be available for students with a 12-month housing contract.
