To get started, you can visit UCF’s Experiential Learning office or go to their website at http://www.explearning.ucf.edu and create a Handshake Account. If you coordinate an internship through this office, they will register you to receive credit hours for your work. An IDS professional advisor will have to approve it. Internships will not count for credit in your IDS Areas of Study, Minors, Certificates, Cognate, or Environmental Studies Concentrations. This is due to the fact that they are not graded and only courses with a “C” or better are eligible to count for Interdisciplinary Studies program requirements
