Dr. Darryl D. Gordon is joining the College of Undergraduate Studies (CUGS) as a Program Manager. He will work closely with Dr. Theodorea Regina Berry, Vice Provost and Dean, to support strategic college- and university-wide initiatives and data collection and analysis. Dr. Gordon will also serve as the college’s point of contact for our community engagement efforts and projects.
Dr. Gordon has extensive experience in higher education. Most recently, he served as the Coordinator of Student Academic Services and Chair of the Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Committee for UCF’s College of Health Professions and Sciences. Dr. Gordon also was a Career Program Advisor for Seminole State College’s EMERGE program and Coordinator of Special Populations at Daytona State College.
He is an experienced community leader. Dr. Gordon is the President of UCF’s Black Faculty and Staff Association and serves on the university’s scholarship committee. He was also a member of the inaugural class of the Black Board Leadership Institute, which is part of the Orlando Economic Partnership.
Dr. Gordon earned his Ph.D. in Education from UCF, a Master of Education in Higher Education from Georgia Southern University, and a Bachelor of Science in Political Science from Florida A&M University.
