Eligibility

  • Current CUGS students and alumni. Alumni are not eligible for scholarships.
  • Students can collaborate on poster presentations. Co-presenters can be non-CUGS students. In these instances, the CUGS student must be present at all times.
  • Presenters must attend their assigned one-hour poster session in its entirety. 

Students who are HIE Stipend recipients must participate in the CUGS Showcase. 

Presentation Categories

  • Poster presentations can include research and creative projects in progress.

  • Poster presentations from other events, including:

    • UCF’s Student Scholar Symposium poster presentations
    • Amy Zeh High-Impact Practice Student Showcase
    • Honors Undergraduate Thesis

  • Presentations about high-impact experiences, such as Study Away, internships, and service learning.

Scholarship Information

The CUGS Showcase is a juried poster presentation. Faculty judges select the projects that will receive scholarships. Students can collaborate on a project. Awards are per poster presentation. The scholarship award criteria will be consistent with the guidelines established by the UCF Office of Student Financial Assistance

Award winners for 2024 were announced at the CUGS Showcase Awards Ceremony that took place on April 24, 2024, in the MIRC.
