We’re on the cusp of a transformative journey that could redefine the general education landscape. Generative AI (GenAI) is here to stay, and as educators, we need to begin incorporating it into our teaching. The “Teaching and Learning with AI” was insightful and underscored that we have much to learn.

GEP assessments are due on Friday, October 27. We need your assistance collecting data by measuring at least one GEP learning outcome in your respective foundation. Information about creating an assessment is available in the “Assessing the GEP at UCF” module in the GEP Faculty Learning Community.

General education is the cornerstone of teaching and learning. It’s important to create and assess learning outcomes. Just as important is to provide faculty with the support they need to advance their scholarship. There are governing bodies and professional associations to accomplish these goals.
