The General Education Program (GEP) is the foundation of every UCF undergraduate student’s academic journey, fostering critical skills in communication, problem-solving and interdisciplinary thinking. Faculty play a vital role in shaping this experience by designing and teaching courses that meet statewide learning outcomes and inspire curiosity and lifelong learning.

GEP Faculty Learning Community

Recognizing Faculty Excellence in General Education

UCF’s General Education Program award programs recognize and celebrate faculty contributions that advance teaching, innovation and student success. These awards honor outstanding scholarship, leadership and commitment to advancing general education.
