Share What You Learn

Create a Presentation

Creating and delivering presentations helps you articulate your ideas and experiences clearly and persuasively. One of the best ways to prepare yourself for the world beyond the university is to learn how to present your ideas and work to others. You can share your experiences and talk about how you made connections between ideas when you give a presentation to your class, but there are also many opportunities to present your work at larger events, such as UCF’s Showcase of Undergraduate Research Excellence (SURE). You might also participate in research events in your department or college, publish an article in UCF’s Undergraduate Research Journal, present at symposiums or conferences outside UCF, or even publish a blog. Visit the Office of Undergraduate Research to explore possible research sharing experiences. Check the events page at Career Services and the websites for your college/major to find opportunities to share your work.
