Yes. Faculty who plan to teach during the Maymester or Winter Intersession should contact their instructional designer (ID) as soon as possible to begin the course redesign process. Faculty must already be credentialed to teach online. Waiting too long to engage with an ID and other CDL services may result in an inability to provide support in time.
CDL has always provided some limited support service during the university’s winter break. This service consists of several hours a day of email monitoring and responding on all days except actual holidays (e.g., Christmas and New Year’s Day). Phone service is not available. At this point, we intend to maintain this existing level of Webcourses email support during the Winter Intersession.
Both faculty and students should contact Webcourses@UCF Support. You can contact Webcourses@UCF Support by phone (407-823-0407), email (webcourses@ucf.edu), live chat, or their Online Support Form.
