Just a reminder that everyone teaching a GEP course needs to have at least one assignment that measures at least one of your foundation’s learning outcomes. If you are not sure of which foundation your course belongs to, please see the  General Education Faculty Learning Community canvas course. In this canvas course, you will also find a great deal of information and resources about this assessment requirement.

Please keep the following in mind:

  • The deadline to submit the assignment is the Withdrawal deadline (Friday, November 1, 2023, 11:59 PM).

  • Ensure you are using the latest version of the rubric (Version 2). The correct rubric has 5 categories (4, 3, 2, 1, 0 or Exemplary, Outstanding, Competent, Developing, and No data/Unsatisfactory). If your rubric has only 3 categories (2, 1, 0 – Exceeds Expectations, Meets Expectations, Does not meet Expectations), it is outdated. Please delete it and attach the correct one.

  • The GEP team will be hosting several virtual drop-in sessions to provide help in setting up the GEP assessment.  Please feel free to drop in at any time during those sessions via Zoom. The schedule for the sessions is:

    • Monday, October 28 from 10-11 a.m.
    • Tuesday, October 29 from 1-2 p.m.
    • Wednesday, October 30 from 9-10 a.m.
    • Thursday, October 31 from 9-10 a.m.
    • Friday, November 1 from 9-10 a.m.
