For the past 3 years I have been practicing litigation with a focus on insurance defense and criminal defense work.
I am involved with the UCF Young Alumni Association as well as other professional organizations.
My fraternity, Beta Theta Pi, had one of the strongest influences on me as a student for two reasons: first and foremost, it provided me with a brotherhood of young men who constantly supported me; second, it served as an incubator for me to develop and grow my leadership skills, which have become invaluable.
I am most proud of my constant pursuit of what I wanted to do and wanted to be. There was never a scholarship that I wanted and didn’t apply for. There was never a position that I wanted and didn’t apply for. Despite failures along the way, I never stopped trying to achieve my goals. That is what I am most proud of looking back.
If I could go back I would hold the importance of classroom learning as high as I held the importance of learning outside of the classroom. Experiences in and out of the classroom both have the profound ability to develop a well-rounded individual and prepare them for life after college. The student who recognizes this is more likely to succeed.
My most valuable experience was as a member of President’s Leadership Council. It helped me become more poised, polished, and professional. It taught me the importance of establishing meaningful relationships with the amazing people in my life.
