Anna Maria Jones Ph.D.
Director of the QEP
Anna Maria Jones joined the QEP as its Director in summer 2015. Anna is Professor of English at UCF. Her teaching and research focus on Victorian literature and visual culture, literary theory, and on neo-Victorianism in contemporary global contexts. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame. Additional information about her background and interests is available on her faculty page on the Department of English website.
Brooks Pingston M.A.
Brooks is the Program Coordinator for the QEP. He earned his Master’s in Educational Leadership with a focus in Public Administration from UCF in 2015. He has eight years of experience in academic advising and academic unit assessment, and is a credentialed Career Development Facilitator (CDF).
Lindsay Rushworth B.A.
Program Coordinator, Knights of Distinction
Lindsay Rushworth is the Advising Coordinator for the Knights of Distinction program. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Florida and is currently working on her master’s degree in Literary, Cultural, and Textual Studies. Lindsay’s research interests include Victorian literature, science and literature, and reader-response theory.
Kara Delemeester B.S.
Graduate Student Assistant
Kara Delemeester is a Graduate Student Assistant for the QEP and a second-year student in UCF’s MFA program with a focus on fiction. Kara earned her undergraduate degrees in Secondary English Education and Writing from the University of Tampa and has two years of high school teaching experience from Hillsborough and Pinellas county. Kara also has four years of writing center experience between the Saunders Writing Center at UT and the University Writing Center here at UCF. In addition to working for the QEP, Kara also teaches ENC 1102.
