Anna Maria Jones Ph.D.

Director of QEP

Anna Maria Jones joined the QEP as its Director in summer 2015. Anna is Associate Professor of English at UCF. Her teaching and research focus on Victorian literature and visual culture, literary theory, and on neo-Victorianism in contemporary global contexts. She earned her Ph.D. at the University of Notre Dame. Additional information about her background and interests is available on her faculty page on the Department of English website.

Brooks Pingston M.A.

Program Coordinator

Brooks is the Program Coordinator for the QEP. He earned his Master’s in Educational Leadership with a focus in Public Administration from UCF in 2015. He has eight years of experience in academic advising and academic unit assessment, and is a credentialed Career Development Facilitator (CDF).

Lindsay Rushworth B.A.

Program Assistant

Lindsay Rushworth is the Program Assistant for the QEP. She earned her bachelor’s degree in English from the University of Florida and is currently working on her master’s degree in Literary, Cultural, and Textual Studies. Lindsay’s research interests include Victorian literature, science and literature, and reader-response theory.

Alice Noblin Ph.D.

Faculty Fellow

Dr. Alice Noblin is an Associate Professor and the Health Informatics and Information Management Undergraduate Program Director at the University of Central Florida. She has been an educator since 2001. Prior to this, she worked in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings, including as manager and independent contractor. Her research interests include electronic health records, personal health records, and health literacy.

Lisa Peterson M.A.

Faculty Fellow

Ms. Peterson has worked professionally as an associate producer, line producer, production supervisor, and production manager. Her credits include Fantasia 2000 (Disney), National Lampoon’s Favorite Deadly Sins (Showtime), Hotel Room (HBO), Major League (Paramount), Nightmare on Elm Street and Tremors (Universal). She is currently a full time associate instructor and a Graduate Scholar at the University of Central Florida’s School of Visual Arts & Design Film program. Ms. Peterson has an M.A. in Interdisciplinary Studies from University of Central Florida (2012) and a B.A. in English from Rutgers University (1979). Her research interests include digital storytelling and the organizational culture of the professional film crew.

Kara Delemeester B.S.

Graduate Student Assistant

Kara Delemeester is a Graduate Student Assistant for the QEP and a first-year student in UCF’s MFA program with a focus on fiction. Kara earned her undergraduate degrees in Secondary English Education and Writing from The University of Tampa. Kara has two years of high school teaching experience from Hillsborough and Pinellas County and has three years of tutoring experience from her undergraduate institution’s writing center. In addition to working for the QEP, Kara will also be working as a tutor in the University Writing Center.

Coral Nimz

Student Assistant

Coral Nimz is an Undergraduate Student Assistant for the QEP. She is a senior in the Honors College, pursuing a degree in mathematics with a minor in art. Before joining the Office of the QEP, Coral worked as a Resident Assistant in on-campus housing. During her time at UCF, Coral has been the secretary of Towers Area Council, on the UCF Club Rowing team, and an active member of Honors Congress.
