2018 Integrative-Learning Travel Awards

Now is the chance to let your integrative-learning research take flight!

The Office of the Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) is pleased to offer travel awards for faculty and staff presenting projects and publications that address the QEP’s theme, What’s Next: Integrative Learning for Professional and Civic Preparation.

Details:

All UCF faculty and staff are eligible to apply for the Integrative-Learning Travel Award.

The travel must be for the purpose of presenting on integrative-learning projects or research that enhance undergraduate student learning at UCF. Examples include but are not limited to: travel to a conference to present a poster or give an oral presentation on an integrative-learning project; travel to receive a recognition for significant contributions in integrative learning; travel to deliver an invited keynote address on a topic related to the What’s Next QEP.

The award is for $1,000.00 per trip but may be split among co-presenters.

Preference will be given to projects that have not previously received travel funding through the QEP.

Selected applicants for the award will receive the $1,000.00 award transferred to their home department to be used towards their Travel Action Request (TAR).

Apply:

Interested applicants must provide one of the following to verify the travel:

  • Letter of invitation or acceptance to present research or receive award;
  • Program/schedule that lists applicant’s name and presentation title.

Along with the verification document, applicants should provide a brief statement (no more than 200 words) describing the travel, presentation, and how it connects to the What’s Next QEP, by email to: QEP@ucf.edu

Applications for travel will be reviewed each semester and are due on May 1st and November 1st.
