The Learning Institute for Elders (LIFE) at UCF is a partnership with UCF. The program provides adults, who are at least 50 years old, with noncredit earning learning experiences at one of the largest colleges in the United States. UCF’s Interdisciplinary Studies undergraduate degree program, part of the College of Undergraduate Studies, is the liaison between LIFE and the university.
Each year, LIFE provides grants and awards to UCF’s departments, faculty, and students. To date, LIFE has provided more than $600,000 in funding.
This academic year, LIFE will offer The Gerontology Applied Research Program award. They are not accepting applications for the LIFE General Grants and Awards Program.
